TheFittClub is wellness and physical education, not a medical service. The routines, videos and guides are for educational and wellbeing purposes; they are not medical advice and do not replace assessment by a healthcare professional. If you are pregnant, postpartum, recovering from an injury or living with a health condition, consult a healthcare professional before you start. Listen to your body: stop any movement that causes you pain or discomfort. Here you progress with consistency and at your own pace, never forcing.
Read the health noticeIs this for me?
Of course it works. The body doesn't care about timelines: the core and pelvic floor weaken during pregnancy and birth, and that can be trained whether it's been months or years. Women reach out to me three, five, ten years later, convinced it's too late. It isn't. With consistency, you recover.
Yes, very much. The thread here isn't postpartum: it's truly training your deep core, something almost no program does well. If you've never worked the transverse and the pelvic floor specifically, you start out like anyone else, and you'll feel the difference.
Because you're probably working the outer muscles and not the inner one. If the transverse doesn't engage, every crunch pushes the belly outward instead of pulling it in. It's not a lack of effort, it's misdirected pressure, and it can be relearned. I explain it in full in The method.
Yes, that's exactly what the method is designed for. We work the transverse, your natural corset, so it holds you again. As long as it isn't very wide, well-executed exercise is the way, and you also stop making it worse with the same old crunches. With consistency, the changes show.
Of course. You might just need a little more time in the early phases, that's all. The method goes in phases precisely to respect where each woman starts from. Your body has a way forward too.
Each type of birth has its own things, and a C-section has its own: the incision crosses the linea alba, right where we work. Sometimes the scar ends up somewhat adhered to the abdominal wall, which is why that area can feel sunken or different. With scar massage, stimulus and consistency, all within the program, that improves a lot. What you will get back is a strong core and a flat abdomen. If your C-section is recent, we start with the gentlest work, without loading a scar that's still recovering.
Is it safe?
From six weeks on, and always once your midwife or doctor has given you the green light and everything is fine. Not before. When you start, you begin with the gentlest work: breathing and reconnection, no impact. If it was a C-section, it's usually wise to wait a little longer.
No. Ritual Core is made for postpartum, not for pregnancy: its progression is designed for a body that has already given birth, so we'd rather you didn't do these sessions while pregnant. Join the waitlist and come back when you're in your postpartum — the test and the program will be waiting for you. For moving during pregnancy, always check with your midwife or trusted professional.
It's very common, it happens to so many women, and as long as there's no badly damaged or torn tissue, exercise is the way. With consistency you'll see the changes are remarkable. If the leaks are heavy or the heaviness is marked, have a pelvic-floor physio assess you first: you complement each other.
That's exactly what the order is for. We don't start with planks or weight, and there are assessments before moving up a level: they're not an exam, they're your safety net. You only progress when your body is ready. If something hurts, you stop: here you never force.
No, and I'll never tell you it does. I'm not a doctor or a physiotherapist: I'm an engineer and a trainer, and what I do is physical education and training. If you have pain, a health condition or anything that worries you, a healthcare professional comes first. And if something serious is involved, my program isn't where to start: sort it out first with the right person, and I'll be waiting for you here afterwards.
How it works
A little, consistently, and it will always depend on the product you choose. With Ritual Core, around 20 minutes four days a week and you make progress. Quality and consistency matter far more than quantity. And the best part: the pace of progress is calculated, and you can set it in the app.
Think in months, not days, because we're rebuilding from the bottom up. Every body needs its own time and starts from a different place, and the method adapts to that. It isn't the fastest: it's the one that truly lasts.
It depends on the product you want to get. In Ritual Core, for example, we use: a softball, yoga blocks, a yoga strap, mini resistance bands and a mat, plus occasional access to a wall or a chair. Each product tells you what you'll need.
Everything is in the app: video-guided sessions that adapt to your level and unlock as you progress.
They're exercises that work the deep abdomen and the pelvic floor from the inside, exactly what the same old crunches never reach. Done well, they teach you to manage pressure instead of pushing it where it shouldn't go. That's why they're so addictive: once you start feeling what they do, you don't want to stop.
Results
In the first weeks you notice control and connection: you start to feel muscles that were dormant. What shows on the outside comes later, with consistency. I'll tell you straight: I don't sell magic timelines. But when the changes come, they come to stay, because they're well built.
Results depend on your consistency and your starting point, I won't fool you. What I do guarantee is a method with judgement, in order, that won't put you at risk. Take photos from day one: seeing them is what motivates the most.
The program: Ritual, Modules and Capsules
The Ritual is a subscription program: the full immersion in the complete method, with you through all your progress. It makes sure you go neither too slow nor too fast, and it brings tests for the most important level changes, with phases to prepare you for each one. It's an experience that will genuinely change your body, like no other (at least none I know of), and you'll learn a lot along the way.
Modules are programs with a specific focus and a set duration. Once you get one, you have access to it for 12 months; and as long as you have an active subscription, you keep it.
Capsules are short experiences, a few days long, to get started or add something specific. You have access to them for 6 months after getting them; and as long as you have an active subscription, you keep them.
With Ritual Core. It's the foundation, and everything else builds better on top of it.
In Ritual Core I like them to be around 15% of the exercises. In my opinion they aren't everything, but they do bring a lot of benefits. You have them guided step by step, in their phase, with the technique well explained so you really get the most out of them. And for those who fall in love with this practice, we'll have new products to go deeper into it.
